2018 Holidays & Closures

The following are my recognized Statutory Holidays and are considered days off; if care is required for any of these days, the fee will be 1.5 x the daily rate:

New Year’s Day – January 1

Family Day – 2nd Monday in February

Good Friday – Friday before Easter Sunday

Easter Monday – Monday after Easter

Victoria Day – Monday before May 25

Canada Day – July 1

British Columbia Day – Monday after the 1st Sunday of August

Labour Day – 1st Monday in September

Thanksgiving Day – 2nd Monday in October

Remembrance Day – November 11th

Christmas Day – December 25th

Boxing Day – December 26th

Note: If the holiday falls on a weekend, the regular practice is the following Monday will be the recognized statutory holiday.
